Christ Lives in You
Be joyful and rejoice, because Christ lives in all of us, even you! He has created us with the yearning and the wanting to be close to Him.
Have you ever felt, that no matter what you bought for yourself; a new car, new TV, new outfit, new shoes, the newest phone, only satisfies you temporarily? You are always thinking of the next newest, best thing you can upgrade to, but within days or weeks, you are over that new item and moving on to the next.
The reason for this is because there is a deep seeded yearning within us that there is only one thing that can satisfy us. That is a yearning for a close, two way relationship with our Lord and Creator. When you take the time to sit with Him, commune with Him and let Him into your heart; you will begin to realize that the newest gadget is not the answer you need. Only that daily, hour by hour, minute by minute communication with God will satisfy you and teach you to be content with all the riches the Lord has given you throughout your life.
Be thankful to the Provider, in good times and bad. He has given you many blessings that you may have taken for granted. Learn to have a thankful heart, one that does not take one day for granted. Every second you are given is a blessing from the One above.
As this verse reveals, "...And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing His glory." Commune with your Creator and He will assure you of sharing His eternal glory.
