New Hope for Every Day
We all have days where we feel defeated. Either circumstances didn't go the way we want, or maybe a struggle with a temptation ended with a defeat. These verses remind us of hope in those situations.
Just knowing the God has a plan for you gives you hope. But how much better is it knowing that His plan for you is for good? With this knowledge, He has in fact given us hope for a future. If you feel like you're in a moment of transition or you don't know what you're doing, put your trust in and seek Him. As you love Him and love others, God will bring everything to pass that He has planned for you.
How wonderful is it to know that His mercies are new everyday? We have a faithful Father so we can know that each day is new with Him. The struggles and defeats of yesterday don't need to determine what happens today. We can call on Him and ask for forgiveness and take on the trials of today knowing that He is with us. And as we stumble again when seeking Him, He continues to be faithful with His mercy. Because of Him, we never have to feel ultimately defeated.
Christ died on the cross for our sins, so that we may one day live in Heaven with our God. It is that hope that saves us. In our journey there, God has given us hope for a future and new mercies for the journey through. Praise God that we can rely on Him!
