Exodus 1:12-22
God has some big plans to devolved them out of Egypt, but it started with the birth of a baby. This is foreshadowing the Messiah coming.
1. A lot of women have a part in this story. (the midwives standing up to the pharaoh, and letting the babies live;
Killing babies has always been a tactic of the enemy. (Now it is abortion.)
2. Every baby deserves a rescue. No baby is a throw-away baby.
Exodus 2:5-10
What an amazing God to redeem the baby and the mother, but also allow the mother to get paid so she may live.
Exodus 3:1-8
Exodus 33:3,15-17
3. Every person needs God's presence.
Moses would rather be in a hard place with God than in a good place without God.
