Are you ready for Jesus' Return?
O: everyone in the hall of faith did not see the promise of their faith, the messiah and the new covenant and the coming of the Kingdom of God on earth. But they still had faith. they saw the promise from a distance and welcomed it. they were foreigners. they did not look back, as Sodom and Gomorrah did.
A: So, first my faith should 1. focus on the promise of the new Kingdom. Focus forward not backward. Welcome the coming promise as it is being birthed. 2. Consider ourselves foreigners of this land, ambassadors for Christ. 3. Don't look back. Do not long for ignorance of the truth. Like the matrix, the life may be tough, but we should never want to go back. The question I need to ask myself all the time: What if Jesus came back tomorrow? How would I feel. I can honestly say that there were recent times in my life that I would say, "can you wait?" That is the test if you are sucked up in the world.
P: Lord thank you for the reminder that I am a child of God. Help me here on Earth. I so much look forward to your Kingdom here on Earth. Come Lord Jesus, Come!!
