From Strength to Strength. A Prayer for the journey

Heavenly Father, O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. God look upon the face of thine anointed. One thing that my heart desires and longs after, is that I may dwell in Your House, in your presence, in your favor, forever and ever! (Psalm 27:4) I had rather be a doorkeeper in your house than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Lord, Your Word tells us to "Be Strong In the Lord and In The Power of HIS MIght!"-(Ephesians 6:10)

Thank You allowing me to dwell In Your Strength, and Your Power, and Your Might. Because your strength is in me I am blessed! (Psalm 84:5). Because YOUR strength in me, I can do all things! Because I have put on Your whole Armour (Faith, Truth, Peace, Righteousness, Salvation, Spirit, The Word), I am able to stand against the attacks of Satan. (Ephesians 6:11-17). For Greater are You that is in me that he that is in the world.

As I travel on this journey of life, You sometimes send me up mountains and through the valley of weeping. But you also you provide comfort while passing through the valley of weeping by making it a well and providing rain as nourishment to restore my soul.(Psalm 84:6) You provide me direction and protection. You show me your goodness. You give me grace,mercy and glory. You promise not to withhold one good thing from me as long as I abide in you, obey you and trust you. (Psalm 84:11-12). These trials along the journey only take me from strength to strength and one day my journey will end at your throne! Praise Your Name! (Psalm 84:7)
