Joshua 1:1-3
•Moses is mentioned 4 times in the first passage

Joshua 1:4
•The same God that was with Moses is with us.
•Before we do anything "for" Him, we should do things "with" Him

Joshua 5:10-12
•God wants us to work with Him.
•Sometimes God stops doing something FOR us because He wants us mature and to learn how to do it. It still involves our participation.

Joshua 14:10-12
•Caleb seems to never quit.
•God wants us to stay in the story.

Joshua 24:14-15
•God wants our total allegiance.

Don't "put God first" because you can't have other things second. Make God you're only god!
