Route 66: Day 50
O: When we study God's word and seek His truth and wisdom He will give us understanding and increase our wisdom. However like the parable of the farmer sowing seed when we fail to dig deep and plant roots in our lives with God's word then we will lose what knowledge He has given us. So in order to dig deep we need to read God's word, memorized and meditation on it, add faith and prayer, and put into action in our lives.
A: I know in my life when I am "reading" the Bible and really seek God in it. When I just read it I get bored and distracted from it, it doesn't always make sense. and it tends to put me to sleep. When I seek God in it though the Holy Spirit opens my eyes and my heart. I see God's word in a new way and it just clicks into place with what God is doing in my life. I need to take that time on a regular daily basis to seek out God's wisdom, meditating on it throughout my day, and living it to grow my spirit and to benefit others.
P: Lord teach me Your wisdom and truth. Holy Spirit guide me through God's word that I will be fed and grow and that I might be a blessings to those in my life as I live it out.
