Jesus stays 2 days after finding out Lazarus is dying. Why?
Jesus decides to go after Lazarus has been dead for 4 days. He has tested the faith of his followers and gained the faith of many more who were there that day.
Jesus had to face his own death to go raise Lazarus from the dead. Jesus probably thought about what it was gonna be like when he took on the sin of the world and he was cutoff from God. There are 2 stories going on.
In our own pain, loss, and uncertainty we have to believe while we are "suffering" God's bigger plan is being unfolded behind the scenes.
We will never fully grasp God's bigger plan.
Jesus says, " I am the resurrection and the life"
We have confidence:
That God is working his will, his plan.
God always shows up on time, his time.
If we trust Jesus with our life, our life is gonna end in a great fashion.
