Who do we say He is?

Who is Christ to us? The World lives to coopt the name of Christ for their own purposes yet vehemently opposes any reference or allegiance to the real Christ. This is seen in pseudo pious references to "God" or "a higher power." On the surface it remains acceptable but has no power for good or change in the human heart. Only an interaction with the true and living Lord can do this. And He is not just a prophet or a good man or a teacher or a higher power. He is all of those and the Saving King of the Universe. But Christ's focus was not a much on what others were saying as it was upon what His own disciples were saying. "who do you say I am?" He can only be our Loving and Saving Lord. If He is just "Oir Faith", or "our higher power," then how can the Wirld recognize Him? In a more insidious way we can acknowledge His Lordship yet live as if It were not true. May we first recognize and live for the Lord Jesus our King.
