So much work to receive forgiveness for their sins. We are so "lucky" now that the sacrafice has been made once for all, BUT...with all this ceremony, they were reminded more vividly of their sin and also made more aware of their repentance. It is so easy to say to God, "I'm sorry" and then move on with our lives without much thought to our repentance. I know that God works the repentance in our lives and helps us to live more according to His will, but it seems to me a little ceremony would help us focus better. What "ceremony" can I do? Something for me to think about...Wish people could comment here so that we could interact on these topics???
