Whats your song??
Now, the book of Psalms this verse is somewhat repeat over and over. "Sing a new song".. Now, I don't think David is saying a literal worship song we sing on Sunday morning but maybe. I am looking at it on a deeper level. What is your song that you are singing to God? David's song is a song of thanks and celebration in response to God lifting him out of despair and setting him on solid ground. For many of us our song is different. When you walk in the doors of church what is your song you are going to be singing to God all morning. Is it a song of thanks, a song of sorrow, a song of repentance, a song of celebration, a song of redemption. What is your life song?
The song For Your Name by Hillsong got me thinking about this just fyi...thats just the worship pastor in me.
