Jesus gives us riches in Heaven and spiritual riches on earth
We must share what we have with anyone who needs something. If we have 2 shirts give someone 1 of them, as the Bible teaches. No where in the Bible it says God wants us rich with money on earth, or for us to have desires to be rich with money. Jesus clearly says "it is easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle then for a rich man to get into the kingdom of heaven" so obviously people need to repent if they feel God wants us rich. The riches that God wants for us are from heaven not earthly riches, but He wants us to have Spiritual riches on earth for sure and that does not mean money, fame, glory, ect!
