You will have what you SAY...
I like the KJV for this verse because the word "saith" is mentioned 3 times stressing the importance of the SPOKEN word!
The SPOKEN word can and often does nullify the written WORD...so it is crucial that we keep that importance under our belt because if the enemy can get his desires to come out of OUR mouths, he has a legal right to "watch over his word to do it" just as God watches over His Word to perform it. A close examination under the guidance of the Holy Spirit of your present trial may reveal to you the very words that you spoke that allowed the enemy to wreak havoc and destruction that you may currently be suffering.
Lord, for Your glory, please KEEP a STRONG guard over my mouth and grace me to only speak Your will and desires and not my own. Teach me to speak the words that will bind the devil's work in my life and the lives of those You love. Thank you. Amen.
