Strength and Courage

God asks Joshua to be strong and courageous. When God was asking this from Joshua, He wasn't thinking of Joshua as a soldier; but instead He was seeing Joshua as a spiritual leader. Joshua's responsibility was to guide Israel to the promised land. He had taken Moses position as the leader of them. God has also given us, Christians, spiritual leadership. He is also asking for our strength and courage to live a life that honors Him and that shows others His love towards humanity. Take responsibility of your position, be strong and courageous.
