Testing....

It's amazing how God gives us what we need when we need it.

My son is going through a really tough time. A close friend of his just died unexpectedly (brain aneurysm) and he's pretty devastated. It's the first time anyone really close to him has died. Several other things are piled up on him too and last night, he actually broke down and cried on my shoulder. It's one thing to be going through stuff myself, but when it's my child who's hurting and there's nothing I can do...well, it's heartbreaking.

Then I read today's devotional. It's perfect and I'm going to share it with him. I pray it'll help him as much as it helped me. Thank you, God, for being there right besides us while we're going through the testing.
