more than just a pox on your house...
John warns that to add or take away from "this book" would bring curse or worse on your head. Is he only referring to the book of revelation, which makes sense, our did the council of nancea which determined amongst other things the books that made the final cut for the christian bible add or take away from something sacred? Since that group determined the content if the bible, as christians we have to trust that they didn't leave out the dead sea scrolls, the gospel according to judas, or the book of Jesus by accident. As well, each book that is included must be trusted to be sacred, holy, and relevant from the major and minor prophets to the books of law and history in the ot to the gospels, epistles, and early church history found in the new testament.
