Faith/Certainty that what God says is true
Has He said, and shall He not do it? Numbers 23:19
I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. Acts 27:25
God has asked us to take and lay up His Word in our heart.
The Word is taken and received into the innermost depths of our hearts through faith.
Full salvation is dependent upon faith.
2 Chron 20:20
Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper.
Mrk 9:23 And Jesus said to him, If you are able! All things are possible to him who has faith.
1 John 5:4 Anything which comes from God is able to overcome the world: and the power by which we have overcome the world is our faith.
1 John 5:5 Who is able to overcome the world but the man who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God?
When you have a Word of God in which He promise to do something, you can always be sure that He will do it.
Simply believe and wait upon God.
Before you feel or experience anything, hold onto that promise.
Luk 1:45 And blessed (happy, to be envied) is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her from the Lord.
John 4:50 And Jesus said, Go in peace; your son is living. The man had faith in the word which Jesus said to him and went away.
1 Thes 5:24 Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you].
Jer 1:12 Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.
