These Scriptures tell us that God is a God of mercies, and God of all comfort, who comforted us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

We suffer sometime that we may know how to comfort other and we ourselves are comforted by God.
