Incredibly significant words of Christ
In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus, in his human nature, pleaded with God to "let this cup pass" from him.
At this point, Jesus is saying basically, that this was all meant to be, accepting the bearing of his cross and his pain. What magnanimity!
This is an area that we struggle with daily, as human beings; denying our cross, avoiding the pain, and our sacrifice.
