The Spiritual Self

•Something all Christians must do: become more serious about who we are in Christ.
•Because we deal w/a flesh body, we deal w/flesh things, however we are spiritual beings on the inside.
•Know who you truly are.
•We may dwell in this world, but are not of this world.
•Serious Things We Must Do:
1. Be born again (John 3:16)
2. Walk in the spirit; understand that we must put God first in everything we do.
-setting our minds on the things of the spirit.
-transform our character via spiritual introspection.

P.S. Personally, I take at least 30 minutes a day to meditate & talk to God. Light a few candles, sit on the floor & listen to music that is soothing, without words. If we just take a few minutes to listen to our spiritual voices, we can block out the noise in the world. He's always there to listen,guide & soothe us. Finding that moment of peace a day will make the world of difference. Smile and be happy at the fact that when everything passes away, His word/love remains forever.
