Overcoming the lust of the flesh:
1. Make a commitment to God's standard
- any sex outside of marriage is wrong
- when in doubt leave it out

2. Magnify the consequences
2 Samuel 12:12 You did it secretly, but I will make this happen to you openly in the sight of all Israel. [NLT]
3. Manage my mind
Philippians 4:8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. [NLT]
4. Maintain proper relationships
- be legalistic In this area
- protect yourself/family/church
Ephesians 5:3 Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God's people. [NLT]
5. Minimize the Opportunities
- don't put yourself in compromising/tempting situations
1 Corinthians 10:12 If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. [NLT]
