*If you travel & have a connecting flight through Atlanta, then you know that you have to give yourself some time.
-There are times when you can miss your connecting flight:
~Plane has to be serviced
~Plane has to be diverted
~Plane has gone into a holding pattern.
-It seems like you might never get to your destination.
*Sometimes we try to take our personal experience & try to make conclusions about how God is going to work out things in our life.
-It makes you wonder what was going through Jairus mind when Jesus was stopped by the woman with the issue od blood.
~He probably was thinking:
-He forgot about me (plane stuck at the gate)
-I had him first (plane diverted)
-Jesus is wasting time, I need him now (holding pattern)
-Or he chilled out because he knows that Jesus was on it.
*We have to come to the point when we don't get to where we are suppose to be in our timing that God is working on it and is on it.
-We cant listen to what others say about our situation, but believe he's on it.
There are 3 points, what we can get from this story
1. Jesus knows what we asked for
2. He knows what he has promised
3. He knows when to come
*Now he may not come on our timing, but he is ALWAYS on time!
-Jesus operates on just in time, in the nick of time, right on time.
*We have to remember that God is on it at all times.
-We might be stucked in a place, diverted to another path, but He's On It For Us!
*He's On It is a statement of faith and familarity.
-If He's been on it in the past, then He will be on it now.
- Don't listen to other folks, trust that he's on your situation & working it out for our good.
-Don't get weary in well doing because in due season you will reap, if you don't faint (Gal. 6:9)
