Who is getting the glory?
Jesus was obsessed with God's glory. And by his example he taught us that our sustenance, and God's purpose for our life, is to do the work that God has designed for us to do, to bring glory to God. Real life is not, "I'll do it my way," but, "What is Your way for me, God?" John 12:23-24 says that if a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it brings much fruit. The seed gives up its life so the flower can bloom. In the same way, in order for us to glorify God, we have to say ultimately it's not about what will make me happy but rather what is going to bring God glory. It's not always comfortable to be in that place, is it? But it's the right place for us to be. #Divintimacy
