Freedom to eat, but with thanksgiving
I have the freedom to eat whatever God provides, because the food He made (animals and plants) He declared to be "good". But I must take everything with thanksgiving, recognizing that it is a gift from God, provided by Him alone. Don't be deceived by those who try to make the Christian life a bunch of rules and regulations. We do have guidelines to follow, but my "good works" DO NOT get me to heaven. So go ahead and eat pork (or whatever else it is), thanking the Creator and Provider of all good things.
