Today's reading in the Essential Jesus plan is about a young Jesus absent from earthly mother and father due to being at the synagogue. Wouldn't it be nice to be in a position where we could inherit a successful family business? Yet we are, this business will never go bankrupt and promises eternal profits. The benefits are unmatched and the pay cannot be counted. Shouldn't we also be about our Father's business? Nothing less is expected of us.
