Mercy Wins
When dealing with the wrongs of other people, we usually want swift judgment and wrath.
When dealing with our own wrongs...
We definitely want mercy.
So what is it going to be? Do we really want judgment? Or do we want mercy? What is our desire for others who have made mistakes? If we live constantly in judgment we're told that this is what we can expect from God.
Why?
Because those who really follow Jesus look to withhold punishment whenever possible.
Those who are consumed by Christ show mercy because we know how much mercy he has shown to us. How could we not honor him by extending it to those all around us?
We want mercy to win.
