Are you in the wilderness?
Scripture reference: Numbers 20:1-13
Some of you may be doing inventory of your situation looking at what you lack, but just as the Israelites, your blessing could be disguised. They assumed they had no water, but from a rock they drank. In your "wilderness" what do you lack, could your blessing be in the rock? Is it not like God to make a way out of no way; to bless us even when we lack faith in Him? Don't be so caught up in how things look, that you believe where He delivered you from was better, trust God to provide even from the rock"
Lacking faith is costly, Moses and Aaron were punished because of this, and God did not allow them to lead His people into the promise land. Does God have to take your position to get your attention? Your position of leadership could be in church, at work, at home, or among your peers. God needs Sheppard's that understand the position in which He has called them and the season in which they are in. When faced with a test of faith leaders must press on standing on Gods word; in return the people have an increase of faith and glorify God as well. God said, "If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me."
Today I challenge you to take the limits off of God, know that He has you right where He wants you at this time and He is Jehovah Jireh. It does not matter what you don't see because we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. Give God the honor, love, and respect that He deserves at all times. Tell God, "I'll trust you, when it doesn't look right, when it hurts, and I feel like I can't go on, LORD I WILL TRUST YOU.
Blessed because I am a blessing!
