What does it really mean?
Romans 12 talks about how you should present your self to god witch is
1) presnting your body as a living sacrifice
2) holy
3) acceptable to god
They all tye in together with the first one living as a sacrifice. Now sacrifice means to kill something and when you kill something its no longer living now what 1 is saying is present you self up to god to with your flesh dead that dose'nt mean kill your self but it means die of your wordly nature rates within you this was an eye opener because I've been trying to please my flesh with the boys that i talk to and when i do talk to these boys it make me, my flesh, happy because i feel a since of accomplishment but isn't my flesh dead when i accepted christ as my lord and savoir did i not kill my flesh so why I'm i trying to please something that should be dead why I'm i trying to bring back something that i fought to distroy the holy spirt really convected me through this because insted of reading his word i was making all these cute scenario in my head that could happen between my prince charming and i insted of devoting my time to god i spent hours on facebook fishing for compliment on my new picture I'm only putting this up on public because i want people to understand that what this world has to offer is only for a moment but what christ to offer is for a life time so when you feel as though your putting a million things infron of God just drop it and run back to him. A friend once told me this saying everything that you have in this life is a bunch of 0s and god is a 1 when you put all your 0's in front of the 1 your life becomes worthless but when you put god (1) in front of everything (0's) then your life becomes more than what you can imagine.
