- Satan hitting Jesus in the area of pride here
- Satan looking for the superficial when Jesus knows the long lasting effects of remaining strong here
- Satan quoting Psalm 91:12 here in a twisted way to tempt Jesus a faithfulness to his Father
- The Father always has out best interest in mind and its important we trust him
Resisting the temptation to become famous
1- Refuse to act recklessly and expect God to deliver (Matt 4:5-6)
- We struggle with a desire to be worshipped
- our culture values self reliance/help/worship
- Satan tries to get you to think you are more than what God intended you to be
- Jesus went on later to do miracles but people still rejected him.
- Jesus not jumping here proves His love and commitment to his Fathers plan
- The real miracle is the resurrected hearts Jesus brings about in us
2- Realize that true status comes from the sacrifice not the superficial
- Our identity is not our earthly successes about rather who Jesus is in us
- Jesus chose o spend his adult life with 12 guys and then die on a cross
- Paul was a good earthly example of this. Selfless and dedicated no matter what the situation
- Moses mom took a risk and she was rewarded with getting her baby back
-Moses left his life as a prince o lead his true people
- Are you willings to give up the superficial world in order to serve the one true God

Imagine This:
Refusing to Live for our own fame in order to magnify the one that choose a cross over a crown
