The focus of all ministry should be Christ

Every person who seeks to be useful in God's Kingdom should allways remember that the focus and end goal of all ministry is towards Christ! We want Jesus to establish His Name in every child of God. The end goal of our spiritual growth is Christ. The way of Christ is the best way to live life!
This is my creational purpose as a human being - to be like Jesus. (Rom 8:29) He was the perfect Man. All ministry is towards this goal. When I council someone, it is so that they can see, discover, realize Christ, and then allow Christ to be formed in that person.

The fivefold ministry has been given to equip the saints for their ministry? Read (Eph 4:11-16) to what end? "till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; (Ephesians 4:13 NKJV)

When I preach, it is towards the goal of seeing Christ formed in everyone that hears. When I worship, it is to reveal the reality of Christ, and let everyone see God as in a mirror and be changed from Glory to Glory. (2 Cor 3:18) As a witness, it is my goal that people will see Christ in me.

May we all be continually reformed into His image, and discover His way of living life!
