a few good men
Jonathon and his armor bearer didn't hesitate when it came to entering the battle. In fact, they took the battle to the Philistines. Jonathan had received the same news his father received, the kingdom of Israel was being stripped away from them. He didn't pout, he didn't hide under a pomegranate tree, but he went to battle for the Lord. God used these two men to not just get the victory, but to encourage those who were hiding and those who went to the enemy side to come back and fight for Israel once again. I love the fact that God used two men to do all this, but Scripture says the Lord gave Israel victory that day. It's not by our might, our strength or our intellect; it is by the power of God we gain victory!
