Being a living sacrifice
Romans 12:1-2
Jesus was the final sacrifice!
We are called to be a living sacrifice!!!
What is the Normal pattern of this world, Is the opposite pattern in God's!!!
If you claim to be a follower of Jesus, the way you live should be the opposite of the world's ways. We are called to be people that are set apart!
Our job is to show the love of God, not judge people that don't know Jesus yet.
Continually transforming life.
^*^ Building thankfulness is another altar we gotta build before God.
God's will for us->
Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 MSG)
1.- Thankfulness takes effort
As followers of Jesus,
2.-We have to be thankful even in the middle of the midst/darkness.
3.- We must Adjust our mindset to the word of God
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. (Romans 8:28, 29 NLT)
You don't have to loose something in order to be thankful for it!!!!
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6, 7 NLT)
4.- Thankfulness invites joy in our lives
5.- Thankfulness Is evidence of the Holy Spirit in your life
6.- Building An Altar of Thankfulness Prevents us from a complaining spirit!!!
