Genesis 12:1-3
There are some times you need to get out of the situation you're in to receive God's blessings for your life.
The word blessed means to be happy. When you're blessed, you aren't sad.
There is a principle of the spirit realm called reciprocal action. If you do something, you've opened a door for that action. When you give, you are given back to. If you want friends, you must show yourself friendly. It works both ways, however. If you are greedy, others will greedily extort you. If you curse others, they will curse you.
1 Peter 3:8-10
If you're going to be someone who lives according to the laws of the Word, everything about you is going to be contrary to the world. You cannot be a friend of the world and a friend of God at the same time. The person who loves life, and experiences good days is the same person that keeps his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking guile.
Being blessed of God brings these things:
Peace - you're confident the blessing of God has your back. You don't have to worry about tomorrow.
Prosperity - your finances are not something you have to sweat about. Your finances are blessed and you are taken care of.
Protection - if you are blessed, you don't tempt or try the blessing of God. You don't go do something stupid to see if God will save you from the consequences. However, if you get caught in a situation where you're in danger, God will protect you.
Health - being blessed means divine health. We live in a kingdom of healing.
God's hand is on you when He has blessed you.
Romans 12:1-2
If you're having problems receiving the blessing of the Lord, you need to renew your mind to the Word. Start reading the Word with the thought in mind: "I want to learn about God's blessing."
Malachi 3:10-12
Tithing isn't necessarily about money. It's about giving your first fruit. There is a principle of the first fruit with God that sets the priority. When you set God as your priority, the nations will call you blessed.
Colossians 1:13-19
He came before all, and all things exist by him, and in all things he will have preeminence. He will have first place in all things. Allow God to have first place in your attitude, work, opinions, etc. of your life.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
Blessed - empowered to prosperity, peace, protection, and health - is the man that trusts the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5-10
You can't be blessed with a head full of Jersey Shore. Entertainment is just like food. You're going to eat every 5-6 hours no matter what it is that is in front of you. To eat healthy, you have to plan to eat healthy. If you're propping your feet up in the recliner and you turn on the tv, it's entertainment time and you're going to watch whatever they throw at you unless you decide to watch something specific.
Psalm 1:1-3
Typically when the Bible says "Blessed is the man..." it follows that with what a person DOES that makes them blessed. In this case, it lists what the blessed man does not do. When you sit in the seat of the scornful, you've become comfortable in a place of scorning people. His priority is in the law of God, and when God's hand is upon you, it brings His blessing, and you will not crumble in hard times.
