A Servant's Posture

As I write this I am reminded of my wandering heart. The famous songwriter wrote, "prone to wander, Lord, I feel it! Probe to leave the God I love!" In this passage we see the Pharisees who did not walk with Jesus. Had they done so they would have seen many miraculous signs and wonders. Because of my frequent wanderings I can definitely relate to this. I like the Pharisees miss out on God's workings. And it is precisely because I fail to stay close to the father and son and Holy Spirit.

So if we want to take part in the miraculous workings of God it will not come by our demanding. For sure there is a place for constant requests of the father. We know He commands this. But it is the attitude and posture of a servant that we must adopt if we wish to see God.
