Facing consequences if sin causes you to wean off that sin and in turn from the sinful nature.

Weaning is a pocess over a duration of time.

Weaning is not instantaneous.

Take off the old and put on the new

Again and again and again.

When? Leave it in Gods timing. Just do, and praise the Lord when I stuff up He forgives, and is far stronger than my sin.
