God Will Protect
S - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? (Psalm 56:3, 4 ESV)
O - Even in the midst of great fear, putting your trust in God and his word will put that fear to rest.
A - I find tremendous comfort in this passage. When I set my sights on God and the promises of his word fear disappears. When I realize God is in control and all that happens is according to his plan, how can I be afraid.
P - Father, thank you for the comfort your word brings me. So often, when I put my sights on what is happening around me, fear over takes me. But, you bring me back to you and I come to realize your hand is upon me and you will take care of me.
