Hoarders!

Most of us have too much stuff in our houses! As I red this passage today, all the words came off the page and slapped me in the face. In other words, I have read this passage many time but today the light shone differently and loudly.

Owning things should not be our primary goal. If you have so much stuff in your house that you have to put things in storage then its time to SELL those items. As vs 33 tells us we should sell those things and GIVE TO CHARITY.

Many people think I need a bigger house so I will tear down my old house and build a new one which in today's time is the same as moving out of a smaller house into a larger house.

WE HAVE TOO MUCH STUFF! Don't be a hoarder!

This rich man had many things or rather many things had him. He was being held bound and tied up to things. So much so that he felt he could just eat drink and be merry; in other words be fat, out of shape and happy however, God had a plan and said tonight I will require your soul more simply put you will die tonight and then who will be the owner of the things. So sell what you have and enjoy life; depend on me for the things that you need and I will give you peace and joy.
