Acts Chapter 17 Summary
Paul and Silas just got out of jail. They visit friends at Lydia's house for encouragement and then continue on their journey to Thessalonica. They do some preaching in Amphipolis and Apollania. Many Greeks believed, and many Jews became angry and wanted to put a stop them or kill them.
Paul and Silas escape to Athens, where they did more teaching. Paul observes their many idols. The had one idol to the unknown God, Paul say "I came to tell you about this unknown God."
