Lord, I seek you because I am feeling afraid. My confidence, trust and reliance I put in you. I ask you for help because I know you can do anything. You have not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. I thank you that you love me and your love casts out fear. Jesus defeated death on the cross and set me free and your Word says if I lose my life for his sake, I will find it. Death has been defeated. You are constantly thinking of me Lord and you want me to have peace, a future and hope. Although I was separated from you, the blood of Jesus has returned me to your kingdom. If I fear, I cannot accomplish your will. Instead, I put my faith in You and Your Word. You say in Your Word that you will harden and strengthen me in difficult times and raise me up with Your right hand. You will never fail me. No weapon formed against me shall prosper for I am hidden in the blood of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
