Teamwork

*In life there is no way to avoid working. -It's the force that it drives a healthy economy. -There isnt much of a return on being lazy. *The people of Corinth were divided by their loyalty to either Paul & Apollo. -Paul saw the danger in this & he had to break down the true essence of teamwork. -He wanted them to realize that we all have a part to play but without God, none of our work will come together. *We must realize that we labor together with God (v. 9) -We share the work, the responsibility, and the success. -We have to know our gifts & talents and be the best the we can be. *We share the work: -We have to remember that we need each other & more importantly God. -Jesus is our root & we are the branches. One can't survive without the other. -All we have to do is look at nature to see how working together is essential. -In the church, we have to play our parts as a team. -Man is the only one of God's creation that tries to buck the system of teamwork. We want to get the credit for doing it all by ourselves, but it takes us all to make things work. *We have to share the responsibility: -We are God's farmer. We are planting the seed for God to do His thing whether it is joy, peace, love, invitation -However, it is hard to be seed planters because our words must match our actions. -They can't know who we are if it's not evident in our everyday lives. *We share in the success: -We have to remember all of the credit isn't due to only us. -Without God we wouldn't able to have the strength or will to makke it through. *Teamwork is what gets us through this life into the next. *No experience is neccessary to join this team. Just a willing heart to work with God & his people & to work for God's people too. *On this team, God will work with us until the end on time. *Join the team of God & you won't regret it!
