Isn't it funny how we don't like the word small? Unless its in relation to our waist?
Yet, nothing that's big started out big! A baby was but an egg growing slowly in a mothers womb. An oak tree was but an acorn that sprouted and even resembled a weed!
If we despise the 'small' then how will we love and appreciate the 'big'?
Like the parable of the talents, if you despise the small or what God has given you, what's in your hand (Moses had a mere rod, yet it parted the Red Sea), then even that small will be taken from you!
Learn to appreciate the small, look after it and surely just like an acorn grows into a giant oak so will your small grow and the best thing is since you nurtured it you'll appreciate the big more than you realise and more that you would have if it were just handed to you as BIG!
Small is good! Small is the start of great things!
