God will judge the wicked

David wrote an imprecatory psalm against wicked rulers. He compared them to an untamed cobra spitting venom. He asked the Lord to take vengeance and wrote that the people would rejoice when justice was served.

Injustice is only temporary. The Lord sees all and will correct wrongs. We want justice in our way and immediately. We have to trust the Lord and not do things to manipulate the situation. Just as David did not take vengeance on his own, we act only when the Lord says to act.
