In this text, the LORD told us indirectly that we should always put him first. Yes it is noble to help the poor and the needy, but we must always check our heart if we are helping the right way. Judas said it is better if the perfume was sold and the money to be given to the poor. The thought of helping the poor, will surely give glory to GOD but did he check his heart. Is he helping the right way, no.

We always give glory to GOD whenever we do something good to our neighbors and friends, but never should we put the LORD behind anything in this world. Sometimes, we just help for self gratification. We help other people so that we could earn praises.

Please bear in mind that the LORD knows everything, even before we speak, the LORD knows our intentions. So if we're to help someone, make sure that we are giving glory to GOD by doing so.
