This Meal Is On Me-Rev. Espinosa

*The obvious purpose of this meal in the scripture was to restore the faith of the disciples after Jesus' resurrection.
-They went back to what they were doing before they followed Christ.
-And they didn't get the same satisfaction.
-Some of us can relate, because we've backslide.
-For some its church folk that turn us back, but when we go back to what we used to do, we don't get the same satisfaction.
-Although we go back, we are never too far back that we are out of the reach of God.
*There is something about the way that Jesus feeds us that sustains us.
-He will feed us what we need in order for us to succeed again at that which we have failed.
*Sometimes it takes a personal touch from God in order for our faith to be restored not only in God, but also in ourselves.
*It's so good to know that we have a God who will still feed even though we don't deserve it.
-But it's because He loves us that the meal, the blessings, are on him even though nothing was wrong in the 1st place with God but rather with us.
*Although we disappoint him, he still feeds us.
-That's how we should do our enemies because that's how folks know we have been with God.
-We should give our enemies a thank you meal and thank them that what could have made me bitter has made me BETTER!
