Jesus did not make others follow him who did not want to follow. He did not push his fathers teachings on no one and people on earth should follow his example. Also to follow him just to have everlasting life, and not for trying to gain a relationship with the farher or him, will cause you to work in vain because you will die anyway because of your selfish reasons. God wants people who wants him not just his kingdom. To teach God's word, you have to desire to know him.
