The goal
One of the most difficult things to do is to forgets what lies behind us. This was something that Paul had to do otherwise he would, not have succeeded in ministry. The things Paul did to Christians prior to his conversion would haunt anyone and leave them constantly discouraged and guilt ridden. We have to look at it from that view and forget what lies behind ...good or bad we can't think of who we were or how great our ministry used to be. But we have to press on toward the upward call of God.
