When you are a child of the Kind, Jesus, there is no higher place that you can climb. Corporate America has nothing more they can add.
Jesus' Heart was to seek the children. There are no VIP's in the kingdom of Jesus, in God's Word. There is special plane in the heart of Jesus for children. There is no guarantee that a child will grow up to be an adult, we can choose to invest in them now!
Christ calls us to approach Him with the heart of a child.
In this story we can see three types of people:
1. Complainers
2. Those being blessed (specifically children)
3. The Blesser, Jesus Himself
With each of our personalities and skills, how we reflect the image of Christ will look different. But we are all called to reach and bless others.
cf Psalm 1:1-3 You can't run with a skunk and smell like a rose.
In this Psalm we see what a blessed life looks like. We should put ourselves in a place that God can bless us. That does not mean we are called to live in darkness. Our circumstances do not dictate where we are, if we live in God's Word, praying and reading the Bible, loving others, then we will walk in the light no matter where we are.
The question is, have we been duped by the Devil and seek only our personal blessings and fail to be the blesser. A tree bears fruit to bless others.
We must make sure our churches are healthy, giving of our resources, before we give to outside missions.
