Anyone remember the old saying " sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt mme "
I honestly wanna know who came up with that because it is far from the truth. Yes sticks and stones may break bones and leave bruises and thise physical wounds will heal, but words Can and Do HURT and those wounds dont heal. Quite to the contrary they continue to hurt even after the person who said them is far from you, thats why Words KILL! Because once u say something either positive or negative those words effect everyone that hears them in one way or another. Everyone has that " proverbial" tape recorder that plays over and over in their head satan uses those nevagive words or comments we hear to beat us down when we try to get up he beats us down again with words till we cant take it anymore. I have unfortunatly seen this so much lately with the bullying today more and more kids teenagers and even adults are taking their lives because they cant get away from thise negative words ir because they believe the words are true. My heart breaks constantly for our and this next generation as i think about people killing with words. i have been there myself, i believed the words spoken by people in my life no matteer if they were a significant part of my life or not lies that satan beat me up contuinously with all day every day. The physical wounds healed relativly quickly but I am still 12 years later trying to heal those emotional wounds, now with Gods help it wont take another 12 years. PLEASE PLEASE REMEMBER WORDS DO KILL!
