Day 5 - Water Treatment Plant
Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. (Proverbs 7:3 TNIV)
Earlier in Proverbs Solomon said that everything comes out of your heart. Picture this, your heart is a water treatment plant. And wisdom is a filter, if you have no wisdom, sin goes through your heart. When you have more wisdom, everything that comes out of your heart is clean! So this verse is saying to remember your filter, and don't forget to filter what comes out of your heart.
To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. (Proverbs 8:13 TNIV)
The beginning of wisdom is to fear the Lord. To fear the Lord you also have to hate what he hates.
