Our selfish hearts.
If you read to quickly over this verse you will miss one of the greatest struggle facing the church today...and not just the church today but then too. This is what gets me...this is not to many years after the resurrection of Christ, there are hundreds and hundreds of people that saw the risen savior but churches are not giving to the cause of the gospel. Wow it's mind blowing. I'll tells you what's more mind blowing is that Christians today have more evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ that just about any other event in history. But everyday missionaries are coming home because churches and individuals cannot support them any longer. What the issue....People turing from the faith ? Too many immature believers? Something is wrong and I believe that it is the same issue the church had 2000 years ago. People believe but innately are shellfish .....more so in their money than anywhere else. The antidote. Give.
